FUNCTIONAL: NON-FUNCTIONAL:

Paola Antonelli's view on design is very interesting. I like how she looked at design as not just fabrics, for example, but as learning how to use things in different ways. One thing I found interesting was one of the designs that had the keyboard and in the middle of a keyboard was a plate for food. What I also found interesting was when Paola was talking about how one designer was talking about how work and leisure should coexist. I liked how most of the designs involved putting two things together and seeing how the two objects could work together. Some designs had people use objects and common furniture as tools, and required people to interact with their furniture, which was pretty interesting.

The article that was about how bad designs and their effects on people had some interesting points. For example, the street sign that was talked about with the first letter being way too big next to the other letters, was an interesting point to make. The big letter causes people's attention to gravitate to the big letter, and people may choose not to read the sign. Also, the article made a point saying that not only words are distracting, but the colors are too and it could be a very good or very bad thing. The article also mentions that certain companies have a bad habit of choosing poor graphic designers to redesign their logos and somehow make them look worse then before. Logos have a lot of appeal, and these companies need to really make sure they do the best to their ability to find a great graphic designer to improve and reinvent these logos.  

 As far as basic computer knowledge goes, I've taken one class in the fundamentals of programming. Generally, I've played a lot of video games on PC so I guess you can say I have experience.   I hope to further my knowledge on computers, and I hope to use the info gathered to further my education in this field.  I had a photoshop class in high school but I do not remember much.  I have a laptop at home, and I do not think I have photoshop.  I use a PC because a lot of people I know seem to have lots of issues with Mac devices.  My major is game design and development.  I hope to help major game companies design video games and/or video game concepts.  As far as art goes, anything that involves entertainment can be considered an art form, therefore, I would say the lead developer of Overwatch,  Jeff Kaplan, is my favorite artist. As of now.  I LOVE MUSIC!! I can not give a favorite artist so here is my top 5: Travis Scott, Drake, Nav, The Weeknd, and Logic.  I l
